In an initiative only known to professional orchestras and choirs and after several participations abroad, the time has come, also in an amateur choir, to bring professionals from abroad to PORTUGAL. That’s how, in 2005, VoxLaci launched the first Ramos Concerts Cycle! Since that date, this annual initiative has marked people’s daily lives, knowing that every year, on Palm Sunday weekend and under the direction of an International Maestro, VoxLaci offers 3 high quality concerts of sacred music. This initiative has been extremely rich for all elements of the choir, conductors and audience, reflected in a sharing of different ways of being, seeing and feeling music! With the dedication of those who sing, the dexterity of those who direct and the stubbornness of those who organize, it is thus possible to give the public a repertoire and an international conductor that they could hardly have in their daily lives!
Numa iniciativa apenas conhecida das orquestras e coros profissionais e depois de várias participações no estrangeiro, chegou a hora de, também num coro amador, trazer profissionais do estrangeiro para PORTUGAL. Foi assim que, em 2005, VoxLaci lançou o primeiro Ciclo de Concertos de Ramos! Desde essa data, esta iniciativa anual veio marcar o quotidiano das pessoas, sabendo que todos os anos, no fim-de-semana de Domingo de Ramos e sob a direcção de um Maestro Internacional, VoxLaci oferece 3 Concertos de grande qualidade de música sacra. Esta iniciativa tem sido de uma riqueza extrema para todos os elementos do coro, maestros e público, reflectindo-se numa partilha de diferentes modos de estar, ver e sentir a música! Com a dedicação de quem canta, a destreza de quem dirige e a teimosia de quem organiza é assim possível dar ao público um repertório e um maestro internacional que dificilmente poderiam ter no seu quotidiano!

Of Love, Life and Spirit
Love, Life and Spirit. They all have different faces, different facets and we all interpret them differently.
But the truth is, that we are all looking for the same thing. The deep connection with each other, with nature, with ourselves.
We present you different aspects of Love, Life and Spirit in these different facets of choral music – from Renaissance to Romantic to Folklore and contemporary music of the 21st century. We will lead you through these diverse aspects, musically and spiritually. Come on this exciting and intimate journey with us.

De Lisboa a Cascais você tem várias maneiras de lá chegar
Você pode alugar um carro (30m de Cascais) transporte público ou recomendamos o METRO www.metrolisboa.pt até ao Cais do Sodré (20m) e de lá o comboio www.cp.pt para Cascais (30m).
Arrival & Departure
If you come by bus with your choir it is 30m from Lisbon. How to get to Cascais from Lisbon Airport? Very easy, simple and cheap. The main airlines (and low cost airlines) fly to Lisbon from most European cities. From Lisbon to Cascais you have several ways to get there. You can rent a car (30m from Cascais), by public transport or we recommend the METRO www.metrolisboa.pt to Cais do Sodré (20m) and from there the train www.cp.pt to Cascais (30m).
Myguel Santos e Castro has a degree in Management and Public Administration.
He began his musical studies at the age of 7 in piano, acoustic guitar and music theory.
At the age of 17 he began teaching music in schools, recorder, music theory and history, piano, electric and acoustic guitar and percussion.
He studied Choral Conducting at the Academia de Amadores de Música de Lisboa Academia, participated in workshops and masterclasses in Choral Conducting / Orchestra / Vocal Technique, inside and outside the country (Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden) with the most influential conductors today. . Under his Artistic Direction he has developed an intense and passionate work in different events and workshops in Portugal.
His choral work has taken him to many countries around the world (France, Mexico, Japan, USA, Estonia) and he has developed many projects with radio, television and cinema.
He is often invited to lectures/classes at schools and universities.

Myguel Santos e Castro é licenciado em Gestão e Administração Pública.
Iniciou seus estudos musicais com 7 anos de idade no piano, guitarra acústica e teoria musical.
Com 17 anos de idade começou a ensinar música nas escolas, flauta bisel, teoria e história da música, piano, guitarra elétrica e acústica e percussão.
Estudou Direcção Coral na Academia de Amadores de Música de Lisboa Academia, participou em workshops e masterclasses em Direção Coral / Orquestra /Técnica Vocal, dentro e fora do país (Alemanha, Espanha, Holanda, Suécia) com os maestros mais influente nos dias de hoje. Sob a sua Direcção Artística tem desenvolvido um trabalho intenso e apaixonado em diferentes eventos e workshops em Portugal.
O seu trabalho coral já o levou a muitos países do mundo (França, México, Japão, EUA, Estónia) e tem desenvolvido muitos projetos com rádio, televisão e cinema.
É muitas vezes convidado para conferências/aulas em escolas e Universidades.
