KYMA is a professional chamber vocal ensemble formed by eight selected soloists and singers with advanced vocal and musical preparation and the ability to work at ensemble level.
This is not recruitment for an amateur choir. We are looking for eight exceptional artists with autonomy, precision, curiosity and the desire to build a shared language.
KYMA is a long-term, regular ensemble. Rehearsals take place every Monday from 09:00 to 12:00, with English as the principal language of artistic and musical work.
A professional ensemble. A space for co-creation. A flexible structure for collective and individual artistic paths.
A shared identity
The eight singers are KYMA’s eight co-creators.
They will not simply perform previously defined repertoire. Every artist will actively participate in building the ensemble’s identity.
What we build together
Repertoire, concert concepts, performance formats and future projects will also be discussed at the first rehearsal with the eight selected singers.
Direction and dialogue
Artistic direction remains in place, while KYMA’s identity will also emerge from the encounter, listening and contribution of its eight co-creators.
Creation and experimentation
A space for shared creation, experimentation and artistic dialogue, developing experiences not previously realised in this form with eight voices.
One identity · multiple formations
Eight voices do not always need to be arranged in the same way.
KYMA will work as a modular, flexible structure, adapting each formation to its project, repertoire, artistic concept and performance space.

Artistic continuity
Participation may lead to productions, concerts, special projects and collaborations across VoxLaci, suited to each singer’s artistic and vocal profile.
KYMA will support every co-creator’s development and create diverse artistic paths—individually, in smaller units or in different formations.
First artistic project
Mozart’s Requiem.
The first planned project will combine ensemble work with solo functions. Each singer will prepare their assigned repertoire independently while contributing to the collective sound.

Mozart’s Requiem opens the journey, but does not define KYMA’s limits. The ambition is to develop new repertoire, concert formats and performance experiences without deciding in advance what should emerge from the eight co-creators.

Casting
We are looking for 8 exceptional soloists and singers.
Selection focuses on vocal and musical excellence, autonomy, artistic presence and the ability to create within an ensemble.
- Advanced vocal and musical preparation
- Strong sight-reading, intonation, autonomy and individual preparation
- Availability for ensemble work and solo functions
- Artistic curiosity and openness to experimentation
- Ability to work predominantly in English
- Commitment to regular rehearsals, punctuality and attendance
- A desire to contribute actively as a co-creator
- Availability for Mozart’s Requiem and future projects
€20casting participation fee
Selectedthe €20 casting fee is returned with the first payment for the first project
Not selectedthe casting fee is not refunded
VoxLaci pays each selected singer €30 per rehearsal. Concerts are also paid, with €70 per concert as a reference fee, to be confirmed for each project. Please include a short account of your artistic background and solo repertoire in your application.
