Music Team
Building
Choral singing as a tool for cohesion, leadership and communication. 7 to 700 participants. No musical experience required. At your premises or wherever you need us.
What it is
Music team building: the voice as a team instrument.
Music team building is a team development methodology that uses choral singing and vocal exercises as a vehicle to work on communication, trust, active listening and leadership. Unlike games or physical activities, music places everyone at the same level — regardless of role, department or seniority.
With over 20 years of experience in group formation, VoxLaci sessions are not about music. They are about confronting fears, exploring new resources and building individual and collective confidence in the pursuit of a shared goal. Results are visible within the session itself.
The process
How a VoxLaci session works.
Each session is tailored to the company, but always follows a pedagogical progression tested over two decades.
Step 01
Breathing and presence
The session begins with breathing and awareness exercises. The group relaxes, activates and starts to find a common rhythm — before any music.
Step 02
Voice and expression
Progressive vocal exercises: discovering what each participant has, without judgement. The comfort zone starts to expand.
Step 03
Singing together
The group sings together for the first time. Each voice has a role. The group learns to listen to others while singing — the essence of teamwork.
Step 04
Performance and reflection
The session culminates in a collective performance. The group reviews what it experienced and transfers those lessons to the professional context.
Why music
Three reasons why choir team building works for companies.
Choir team building activates dimensions that no other team development activity can reach as naturally.
Participants experience something radically new alongside their colleagues. Confronting fears together creates bonds that no game or physical exercise provides.
In a room where everyone sings, the director and the intern share the same challenge. Hierarchy dissolves — and with it, communication barriers.
The effects are visible within the session. Participants report feeling more positive about their place in the company and their relationship with colleagues.
