Intuição

That's the idea behind Intuição: a female vocal ensemble where different generations, personalities and timbres find a common language. Intuition doesn't replace technique — quite the opposite: vocal technique, breathing, tuning, listening and rigour are exactly what give interpretation its freedom. When there's trust between the singers, music stops being only what's written on the page. It starts to live in silence, in gesture, in breath, and in the ability to anticipate the voice standing next to yours. It's no accident that so many languages and traditions speak of a particular female intuition for reading what's left unsaid — and it's that shared sensitivity, between voices, that this ensemble turns into sound. Listening is also a form of knowing.
