VoxCor

Cor, cordis: in Latin, the word for heart — the same root behind words like “cordial” and “courage”. At the centre of VoxCor is therefore a simple idea: singing comes from the heart. There's also a happy sonic closeness between Cor, choir and core — because this is also a group at the core of the VoxLaci community. VoxCor mostly welcomes singers aged 60 and up, and every person arrives with a lifetime of experiences, memories, songs and stories — and all of it becomes part of the choir's sound. Here, age isn't a limit. It's a human repertoire. We work on voice, breathing, listening, memory, interpretation and repertoire from different periods and styles, building a space of encounter and belonging at the same time. You don't need to have sung your whole life. You just need to still want to discover what your voice can do.
